    Any org becomes a protocol

A pattern I'm seeing: it's now often faster to build the thing than to schedule the meeting about building the thing.

The cost of intelligence is collapsing. The cost of coordination isn't. Hierarchy was built for a world where expertise was scarce. That world is gone.

    A pattern I'm seeing:

The cost of intelligence is collapsing. The cost of coordination isn't.

It is now often faster to build the thing than to schedule the meeting about building the thing.

Faster to spin up an AI workflow than to get approval through three layers of management.

Faster to generate the analysis than to align on who should own it.

    Until now

You hired specialists. Built departments. Added managers. Created approval chains.

That architecture made sense when expertise was expensive.

    The shift

Now intelligence is abundant. Coordination is the bottleneck.

The companies moving fastest are the ones with the least friction between a decision and an action.

Which makes me think: we're moving from organisations built around hierarchy to organisations built around intelligence.
